Keeping Warmth introduces energy saving programs in the Murmansk Region

The aim of Keeping Warmth is to introduce strategy and methods of realisation of the European energy saving programs in the Murmansk region.
Project priority is given to encourage municipal energy saving program in the housing sector. The main activities include realisation of a pilot energy audit project in the Murmansk region in compliance with the international standards. Also, local specialists will receive necessary knowledge and technologies to increase energy efficiency.
 Creation of energy audit agency under the auspices of Murmansk Oblast Administration is a basis of project realisation. Target groups are municipal authorities, municipal energy organizations and housing companies, energy efficiency centers and property owners.

The overall Project management is done by the Lead partner being the city of Vantaa, Finland. The daily coordination is done by  the Export Manager Juri Markovitch from Vantaa Energy, the municipal energy organisation of the city.
