Energy Saving Network

The Energy Saving Network stems from  some  EU financed energy efficiency projects and is a contribution of local and regional level administrations, energy associations, energy agencies and centres and municipal energy companies to sustainable development in energy sector.

The objective of the Network is to co-ordinate information flow related to energy efficiency projects  and  to build a forum where new common development efforts may grow. The portal and the network are developed in the frame  of the ESCOBALT Project, promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and rational use of energy.

The portal is also a tool for Project Coordination and dissemination of results - seminar materials and reports can be published and stored easily in the internet. The portal includes  several services that can be used by projects: expert organization search, news and events and energy link lists. Electronic event registration is possible. Extranet for different purposes can be build.

The possible language choices available at present are German, Estonian, English, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian and Swedish.

Energy efficiency  projects are invited to search for  information and contacts from the portal - and use  it as a channel for effective project dissemination.  Contact: Päivi Saarnia firstname.lastname@greennetfinland.fi
